The City of Dickson Arboretum’s Memorial Tree Planting Program offers a beautiful and meaningful way to honor a loved one while contributing to the lasting legacy of our arboretum.

Plant a Seed of Remembrance:

• Choose from a variety of trees: Select the perfect species to reflect your loved one’s personality, from the towering strength of an oak to the vibrant blossoms of a dogwood.
• Nurture a lasting connection: Witness the tree flourish year after year, a constant reminder of the one you hold dear.
• Create a haven for future generations: Your memorial tree will provide vital habitat for wildlife and contribute to a healthier environment.
• Every tree will be labeled and include the name of your honoree. You may also personalize your tribute with a commemorative plaque where you can inscribe a special message or memory.
• In addition, each label features a QR code that links to a website page for each tree. That online resource can be personalized with memories, photographs, poetry, and music.

Contact the City of Dickson Beautification & Tree Managment Board at email: dicksontreeboard@gmail.com for help in selecting a tree and an appropriate planting location within the arboretum. All plantings much be pre-approved.
